Regenerative organic agriculture, unlike organic agriculture, is defined by its ecological outcomes such as soil building and biodiversity enhancement. Read more about it here.

Ashwagandha History

Ashwagandha originates from the Ayurveda, the traditional system of medicine practiced in India and can be traced back to 6000 BC. For most of this time Ashwagandha has been used as a Rasayana (herbal tonic).

Its species name, somnifera, means "sleep-inducing" in Latin. Somnifera indicates its traditional Ayurvedic use for supporting sleepiness. In Sanskrit, the word "ashwa" means "horse," while "gandha" means "smell" (on consuming it gives the "power of a horse").
